A prominent Abian and Prime minister of Afugiri community High chief Kingsley Chukwunenyem Igbokwe has described the APGA candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency,Engr. Ogbonna Abarikwu as a good product that sells itself and assured him of working with him to ensure victory.
He lauded APGA and her leadership in the state for giving ticket to Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu who has a good name and integrity,added that for someone who is residing in America to decide to come back to Nigeria to help charge the narratives in Ikwuano Umuahia federal Constituency is a huge sacrifice.
Chief Igbokwe said Abians are tired of the present government in Abia state and need APGA as the alternative change.
He also expressed appreciation to Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu for consulting him and promised to ensure that not only Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu emerge victoriously,but all APGA candidates in the 2023 general election, said ,”We must win,there is nothing that will stop us from winning as far as God is with us”
“There is nothing anybody can do without God .To be honest with You, Abians are tired of the government of PDP .
“I am working for APGA and what people need is for them to know that APGA is a strong force since God has given us great people like you.
“You are a good product that sells itself and what we need now is unity and plan because people are yearning for the change APGA will bring”
In his response, Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu who visited High chief Kingsley Igbokwe in his home town Afugiri community in the company of his campaign team,thanked him for receiving his team,added that he deserves a respect as a community leader.
Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu said he was trained to be humble and God fearing noted that in Methodist college Uzoakoli,”We were inculcated discipline and we do not believe in making noise but result.
Earlier in his speech,the Director-General Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu campaign team, Mr Osondu Anamelechi explained that the campaign team came to solicit for his support as a prominent son of the community noted that the signing of the electoral law will guarantee free and fair election in 2023
In his contribution the Afugiri ward Chairman of APGA, High chief C Ohaeri described High chief Kingsley Igbokwe as the Zonal coordinator of Greg Ibe campaign council who is in charge of six LGAs, Umuahia North and South,Ikwuano, Isialangwa North and South, Osisioma LGAs and a grassroot mobilizer who has remained a strong APGA member
