The union of workers made up of workmen, unskilled workers, Mason, Bricklayers,Builders, Plumbers, Electricians, Craftsmen in their great numbers have assured the APGA candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency in the next coming general election,Engr. Ogbonna Abarikwu of their unflinching 100% Support towards realizing his mission of representing the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia come 2023.
They gave the assurance while interacting with the candidate during a visit by Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu and his team to the workers in Umuahia.
They lamented the level of neglect by the various tiers of government and expressed appreciation to Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu and his team for visiting them as well as giving them sense of belonging.
In his speech,Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu promised to change the narratives of representation of the people, which will provide employment opportunities for them as well as change their standard of living.
Engr. Abarikwu pointed out that as a trained Engineer,he understood and appreciated the vital roles being played by the workers in the construction of quality roads and other infrastructural development hence would engage them when he represents the people in Abuja come 2023.
In his own speech,the APGA candidate for Abia central senatorial District, Barrister Ahamdi Nweke promised to Pursue policies will cover their interests.
