Utilize The Opportunities On The NOILER BIRDS Farming, Abia ADP Boss Tasks Beneficiaries OF The Poultry Training

The new Abia state  ADP Boss ,who gave this advice during the opening session of the Noiler birds rearing training, organized by the Federal  Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with Abia state Agriculture Development programme(ADP),held at ADP training hall, said the training is to educate the farmers on the rearing of Noiler birds.

Hon. Amanze, described the  Noiler birds as a cross breed between the local birds or local chicken and the meat producing birds, called the Boilers ,added that it is also an integrated crossbreed between the layers that produce eggs.

According to him, “our local birds can fend for themselves, normally we do not feed them at home, they fend for themselves and come back. The Noiler birds can fend for themselves, they can go and scratch the ground and pick their food. Boilers are known for raising very high quality meat at a very shirt interval.The Noiler birds will raise high quality meat at a short interval “

He stated that, it is a combination of the characteristics of all these birds that have been bred into one unit, it is a versatile birds that do not need intensive feeding, pointed out  ,when you get this birds ,feed them for 5 weeks, they will take over from there and fend for themselves,added that after training, the beneficiaries will be empowered with 30 birds each, birds at 5 weeks .

Earlier on his speech, the State Director Federal , ministry of Agriculture and rural development,Abia state,Engr. Victor  Ihediwa, said the essence of the training is ” to ensure, we have mass production of poultry meat and products “

He called on the beneficiaries of the training to be serious with what they are doing, to ensure they put them into practice, so as to empower themselves and create employment opportunities for others.
