A group of unknown Gunmen on Saturday burnt down the Abia State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department of the state police command located in Umuagu, Umuahia the state capital.
As the time of filing this story ,the place is still on fire and we could ascertain the level of damage incurred in this attack at the Abia state police criminal investigation department Umuagu ,Umuahia ,Abia state.
An eye witness said the unknown Gunmen were putting on palm leave in the mouth.
We are yet verify the number and level of casualties
However, many people were seen running helter skelter ,closing their shops ,offices and running for their lives ,because of the panic created by the attack .
Recalled that the State had announced a curfew between the hour of 8 pm to 6 Am ,but the panic compelled many people to go in by 7 pm,mostly because of unverified rumors going round the town
