Two Dead As Helicopter Crashes In Lagos Residential Building

HELICOPTER CRASHES INTO LAGOS RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

Helicopter has crashed in the Opebi area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the helicopter dropped from the sky around 12 noon at the Salvation Bus Stop in Opebi.

Two (2) died and one rescued alive at Opebi, Ikeja Lagos as at the time of filing this report

Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident to our correspondent in a telephone conversation.

“Yes, it just happened. The helicopter crashed in Opebi around 12pm. LASEMA operatives are on our way to the incident site. I’ll give you more updates,” he said.

The Acting Coordinator of Lagos Territorial Office of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, was quoted by Daily Sun as saying that two persons have been confirmed dead while one was rescued alive.
