Tribunal dismisses Uche Nwosu’s petition against Governor Ihedioha . The election tribunal in Imo has dismissed two petitions against the victory of Governor Emeka Ihedioha in the last gubernatorial poll – The petitions were filed by Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance (AA) and Senator Ifeanyi Arareume of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) – The tribunal dismissed the petitions on the ground that they both lacked merit The petition of Uche Nwosu, the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) against the election of Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo was on Saturday, September 21, dismissed by the election tribunal in the state. Moreover, the tribunal dismissed the petition of Senator Ifeanyi Arareume of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on the ground that it lacked merit, Channels TV reports. The petitions against Ihedioha claimed that he was unlawfully declared governor of the state by the Independent National Electoral commission
