A pregnant lady was yesterday killed by a train in Uratta, Abia State.

The deceased was said to be on a commercial bike and rider refused to stop for the train to pass. .

The lady was said to have tried to jump off the bike, but it was too late, as she was crushed. The rider was however unhurt and he fled the scene on his bike.
