Tinubu, Amaechi, Yahaya Bello etc never gave us a dime – Abia APC confirms

The attention of the leadership of APC in Abia State has been drawn to a malicious and unfounded insinuation by an unidentified coward .

The said frivolous article is not just laughable but a last minute ranting of an obvious political destitute who would rather pull down a house He lack capacity to build over time.

The Party ordinarily would have ignored these subtle distractions as it never mentioned any of our Delegates, but for the genuine concern of noble men who have reached out to us – hence the following clarifications;

1. That the Abia APC Delegates to the 2022 presidential primary election went to Abuja as a team under the leadership of the State Chairman Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu.
2. That the entire Delegates were unanimous in agreement to vote in one direction, with no intention whatsoever to extort money from the presidential Aspirants – that alone is a Hallmark of integrity second to none in the history of party politics in Nigeria.
3. That pursuant to the overriding interest of the party image and uncommon charisma of Abia APC leadership, the delegation DID NOT RECEIVE A DIME from either Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Yahaya Bello, nor Engr. Dave Umahi.
4. That the entire South East delegation met under the auspices of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma with a decision to vote in one direction, to make a statement for Ndi Igbo unity front.
5. That it is a Shame for those other Igbo States who betrayed our collective interest for a paltry sum – but Abia APC kept faith with Igbo agenda and posterity will never forget our sacrifice for the love of motherland.
6. That Abia APC Delegates never approached any of the presidential Aspirants for money – a virtue grossly lacking in the characters of our detractors.
7. That the party leadership even went extra mile in providing for every ABIA APC NON DELEGATES who showed up for the convention and nobody left empty handed.
8. That it is rather uncharitable at this point, for any right thinking Adult to insinuate that Abia Delegates were paid 35000 dollars at the 2022 APC presidential primary election – WHEREAS IT IS A FAT LIE and nothing close to the reality.
9. That the said article is not just another futile blackmail, but a figment of the writers imagination of what they would do if they had the leadership opportunity in Abia APC. They are certainly not of Abia APC, but paid agents of PDP.
10. That Abia APC is one big family with common goal of ensuring a better deal for the suffering masses come 2023. We are resolute with the FREE ABIA MANTRA and confident that the gates of hell shall not prevail.
