Abia state commandant of NSCDC Receiving Abia commissioner of Police

The Abia State Commandant of NSCDC – Muhammad Hassan Sanyinna today, 17th November, 2022 received his counterpart and Commissioner of Police – Mustapha Muhammed Bala, psc at the Command Headquarters in Umuahia.

The Strategic meeting

The strategic meeting between the two Service Commanders in the state today, has renewed hope of an end to the unfortunate and avoidable inter agency rivalry between NSCDC and Police which hitherto was the order of the day with its attendant unpleasant consequences on joint operations.

Speaking during the visit, CP Mustapha said “we will adopt Collaboration, Engagement and Synergy to secure Abia State. I assure you that under my watch as a CP, bickering and supremacy rivalries will be a thing of the past

CP Mustapha further said there was no alternative to a formidable and harmonious relationship between the two agencies if crimes and criminalities in the state will be given a good fight.

Responding, Commandant Muhammad thanked his guests for initiating the crucial visit and assured him of the willingness of his Command to close ranks with sister security agencies and other critical stakeholders to sustain the relative peace in the state.

In his words ” your visit and call for the formation of a formidable force to combat crimes in the state truly represent the letters and spirits of synergy and that makes us stronger. We will work together to deliver better security services to the general public

Commandant Muhammad further said he was happy that his Personnel have not had issues with the Police in the state and pledged to sustain the comradeship going forward.
Finally, CP Mustapha officially invited Commandant Muhammad to participate in a crucial Stakeholders meeting with political Party aspirants that will lead to the signing of peace accord for a violent free election in 2023.
