See What The Abia Deputy Gov. Tells Catholic Men Organization In Umuahia

The Deputy Governor of  Abia state, his excellency Rt. Hon.Ude OKo Chukwu has challenged the members the Umuahia Diocesan Council of the Catholic Men Organization ( UDCCMO) to be role a  model to other organizations in the church and the society at large, saying if the society is living rightly the men should be praised and when the society is bad ,the men should be blamed.
The Deputy Governor who said this at the occasion of the luncheon party organized by the Catholic Men organization, held at Bishop Nwedo’ court Umuahia, urged them to recognize the enormous responsible God has given them as fathers and heads of different families ,maintaining that the success of the Catholic Church resides on their shoulders.
He charged them to propagate the gospel of God ,saying that the task of building the church resides on their shoulders.
The Deputy Governor commended the Catholic  Church  for the cordial relationship that has been existing between them and the government of Abia state, noting that the successes recorded by the government under  Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is mainly  because of the prayers of the church, pointing out that if government is doing well, the church will be happy and if the government is not doing well, it will also affect the church.
Ezinna Ude OKo Chukwu,thanked the Bishop of Umuahia diocese for his mentorship, while appreciating the leadership of catholic Men organization for what they have achieved, saying they are leading very well.
In his speech, the President of Umuahia Diocesan Council of Catholic Men Organization, Sir Titus Ahaoma Agommuoh ,the occasion was one of the activities lined up for the Catholic Men organization this 2019,saying they decided to invite their friends to come and celebrate with them and to use the opportunity to rob minds and  inform them of the progress they have made so far, the problems and challenges they are facing as an organization.
Sir Titus pointed out some of the progress by his leadership to include the production of 1,100 pieces of quality  UDCCMO uniform, and the refurbishing the UDCCMO bus up to 85% ,while mentioning lack of funds and catholic Men organization secretariat at the Diocesan centre.
He thanked the Bishop of Umuahia diocese, his lordship Most Rev.Lucius I. Ugorji for all his fatherly support, the Chaplain Rev.Fr.Christopher Okeke for his good advice and guidance and “we  thank in a special way our invited Guest ,our dear own Ezinna ,His Excellency, Rt Hon.Sir Ude OKo Chukwu ,the Deputy Governor of Abia state for honouring their invitation.
