The Abia North Senatorial District Frontline Aspirant Rt.Hon. Uko Nkole embarked on a consultation visit to critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia North Senatorial zone today 5th of May 2022.
This outstanding and unassuming with capacity and content paid a visit to Prof. S.O . Igwe,the former Vice Chancellor of Abia state university and long standing pillar of the PDP in Bende Local Government Area of Abia state.
Briefing the erudite professor Igwe about his aspiration to represent Abia North Senatorial zone at the Senate,he said it will give him a wider platform to extend the Sterling representation he has offered to the people of Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal constituency over the last 7 years.
Continuing,he solicited for his support and that of his followers for his aspiration and asked for his blessing on his journey.
In his response, Professor Igwe expressed appreciation to Rt Hon Uko Nkole and his entourage for visiting him and said that he had heard so much about him and all numerous Projects he had been attracting for the people of Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal constituency and expressed confidence in his ability to perform if elected to represent Abia North in the Senate.
Speaking further,he lauded the doggedness and strength of Hon. Uko Nkole to win elections back to back, despite the onslaught of the opposition parties in Abia North and stated that it is people like him but the PDP ought to give her ticket to ensure victory for the party.
The elder statesman encouraged him to continue with his consultation, adding that he supports young politicians like Hon.Uko Nkole to emerge on the forefront of decision -making in Abia state and beyond .
He finally, together with his family members prayed for Hon. Nkole for Success and God’s Favour in the race.
