PDP Senatorial Candidate Austin Akobundu unveils manifesto,says he has the network and sagacity to attract development to his Constituency.

The PDP senatorial candidate for Abia Central District in Col.Austin Akobundu has officially unveiled his actionable manifesto said his campaign is centered on citizens’ empowerment, human capital and infrastructure development which shall drive stronger production of goods and services through effective legislation and oversight.

Col Akobundu who made this known during the media unveiling of his campaign manifesto called ‘the People-First Agenda Document’ held at the Sacramento event center Amakama in Umuahia, said he has the network,the sagacity and courage to attract development to his constituents and Abia state in general.

Unveiling of the manifesto

Continuing,he explained that “in putting together my manifesto,we received inputs from professionals,in various fields , community leaders ,the traditional institution,youth groups, student bodies, faith-based organizations, women groups’ artisans ,transporters,traders and all other stakeholders in a shared commitment towards the collective good of Ndi Abia central senatorial district”

He insisted that he was not under any compulsion to draft his manifesto and therefore will be held accountable if he fails to implement every aspect of the manifesto when he emerges after the election,added that he will religiously follow my manifesto so as to implement it.

According to him,”the Col.Akobundu People-First Agenda Document which is being unveiled today should serve as a direct statement,vision, aspiration,desire and collective hope of my dear people in Abia central senatorial District.
This explains why my candidature is a peoples’ oriented project which I believe they have resolved to actualize through me on February 25,2023″
