The good people of Umuezeala Nsu autonomous community in Ehime -Mbano local government Area of Imo state has raised alarm ,calling on the Imo state government and the other neighboring communities to come to their assistance as suspected Fulani Herdsmen have forcefully and secretly invaded their community, cleared their community plots of land with the intention of building their RUGA without the knowledge of the leadership of the community and the entire community members.
Explaining to the public ,the ugly development, one of the villagers, who does not want his name mentioned ,said ,” A palm wine tapper ,who was harvesting his fruits ,saw them first from the palm tree ,then quietly went and informed the youths ”
However, before the youths of the community could get there ,the suspected herdsmen had disappeared from the cleared plots of land ,leaving behind some of their belongings ,including their sleeping mates ,clothes ,among others .
Addressing the youths and the other members of the community on the development ,the President -general ,Barrister Magnus Agu appealed for calm,while promising to get to the root of the matter.
