Promises to draw the attention of both Federal and Abia state government to the erosion site

The member representing Aba North/South Federal constituency,Rt Hon Emeka Nnamani,has decried the magnitude of damage done by the Ovom street erosion site in Ogbor community,promises to bring urgent attention of both the Governor of Abia state,Dr Alex Otti and the Federal government to forestall further damage to the area.
Nnamani who made this known when he visited the area,lamented the worrisome sight of the deepening gullies as a result of the erosion on the landscape, explaining that if the ugly situation was not arrested that the entire community may be taken over by the deepening gully erosion.
Continuing, he assured the residents of the community of his readiness to raise the matter at the floor of the House during plenary as a matter that needs urgent attention by the government.

His words,”This is an emergency,by today,our Governor will be informed about this.
“I will also raise this in our next plenary,so that the attention of the Federal government can be attracted to this .
“But this may not happen immediately because of the bureaucracy in governance.
“I am assuring that the Federal government will come to your aid but can’t guarantee when it will come” he disclosed.
