Chief Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu (Onyinye Ohuhu 1) has expressed sadness over the death of chief Mrs Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi and chief Mrs Adanma Okpara, saying that Abia state and Nigeria have lost virtuous women.
He described them as women that were selfless in mind and attitude .
He opined that if Lady Aguiyi Ironsi was not a good woman, she would have made sure that Nigeria remained in crisis after she lost her husband to the nation .
He informed that , Lady Adanma Okpara was a beautiful virtuous woman who supported her husband to selfless services .
He described late Michael Okpara as his role model and one of the best leaders from the Southeast .
According to him , ” The man who could not build a hut for himself ,rather he developed the entire state and the Eastern part of Nigeria”,adding that if the wife was selfish, she could have convinced the husband to siphon the economy of the state ,but she supported the husband and they worked without selfishness.
” We have lost virtuous women ,we have lost dear ones , I think Ohuhu is in deep mourning and Abia state too .
” I encourage everybody to take solace in the fact that they lived very wonderful lives ” he said.
