NMA Abia Congratulates Medical Director FMC Umuahia ,Azubuike Onyebuchi On His Promotion To The Rank Of Professor. applauds his sterling performances and commitment to the Association.

NMA Abia state has congratulated the Medical Director Federal Medical Center Umuahia ,Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi on his recent promotion to the rank of professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Vice Chancellor and Council of the prestigious Alex Ekwueme university Ndufu Alike Ebonyi state.

Presenting the congratulatory message letter to the new Professor in his office at FMC Umuahia, during a courtesy visit by the State officers of NMA Abia state, the NMA Abia state chairman, Dr chimezie Okwuonu ,described him as ” a committed member of the Nigerian Medical Association Abia state and has shown this in multiple ways including your uncommon support to our programmes and Secretariat and event center project” he said.

According to the congratulatory message letter which was signed by NMA Abia Chairman ,Dr Okwuonu Chimezie and the State secretary Dr Robinson Uchenna Ugwuanyi, it read ” This elevation came at a time when your sterling performance as a medical director in Federal Medical Center Umuahia is glaring .

” Your commitment to excellent medical care and academics is undoubted .You have stood excellence within these two years of leadership as a medical director in FMC Umuahia'”

The letter further read that ,” sustainance of the kidney transplant programme, rehabilitation of the oxygen plant which has been moribund for some years, uncommon accelerated and massive infrastructural developments some of which include ,functional infectious disease ward ,construction and launching of the physiotherapy complex, ongoing construction of house officers’ quarters, emergency medical complex and the library multipurpose complex etc are visible even to the blind”

In his response, the Medical Director Federal medical Center Umuahia ,Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi ,expressed happiness and appreciation to NMA Abia state for the gesture ,while promising to continue to put in his best.
