History was made on Saturday ,19th of June 2021 at De Majestic Gardens , Owerri as the newly elected officials of Mbano Connect Dynamic Club of Nigeria were Inaugurated with charged to ensure they stand by the constitution and defend it at any point in time.
Issuing out the charge while swearing them in, Mr Ekwelem Chidiebere,tasked them to carry every member along in their activities.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President ,Hon.chief Tochukwu Ekwegh vowed to treat every member equal and called for the support and cooperation of all the members to move the association to the next level.
Addressing Newsmen shortly after taking the oath of office,the president called on the Rich and privileged people in the society to help the less poor and indigents people in the country,disclosing that “without assisting them your wealth becomes meaningless”

Hon. Ekwegh, said his association believes so much in human development and assisting the poor .
According to him , ” we carry out yearly outreach to help the poor and less privileged in the society, and if you have money without touching lives ,it is as good as you do not have”
” Our members have built houses for the widows in the society.
” Even if it means paying for the WAEC and JAMB registration of the intelligent children of the poor in society ,it will be good ” he said.
He expressed appreciation to the members and the electoral committee for finding him worthy to serve , while assuring them of his commitment to serve them.
In his speech, the electoral chairman ,Hon.Ebere Ekeh Ubasinachi , thanks God for making the election free and fair, while urging the new executive officials to ensure they take the association forward.
Earlier on his speech, the founder of the association,Prince Mike Akunesiobike , revealed that it is his love for his people and the vision to assist the poor that made him started the association.
He however , disclosed that at the beginning there were serious challenges which wanted to deter him ,but expressed praises to God for His mercy , while describing their president as a man with good leadership qualities
The names of the inaugurated excos include , the president Hon . Tochukwu Ekwegh, the vice president Hon.Echefu Franklin Udodiri , Secretary Hon .Uzoma Michael Maduabuchi , Treasurer,Engr Hon.George Onyedieke , PRO Hon.Micheal Obinwa and the welfare officer, Hon. Durugbo Victor Ndubuisi
