The Deputy Chairman Bende Local Government Area Promise Uzoma Okoro has declared that his election has brought hope to Abia youths .

Interacting with the SouthEastBreaking News during his inauguration at Michael Okpara Auditorium Umuahia,he thank the Almighty God and those God used to make his nomination possible as well as thanking the people of Bende local government for giving them massive votes …

His words ,” Firstly ,I thank Almighty God, then Our Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu ,thirdly my Boss and the fourth person the commissioner ,my dear sister and all lovers of the youths for deciding to nominate young men as deputy chairmen from our great party the PDP and my people of Bende for giving us massive votes”

He pointed out that this nomination and election of the youths is a movement that brought hope and succor to the youths ,considering the fact that the youths have been agitating.

Promise Okoro commended the Governor for matching his words with action of allowing the youths to occupy sensitive political positions in his tenure ,adding that he will continue to preach loyalty to whatever he believe in and be prayerful .

He promised to work with his chairman to bring solutions to the needs of the people especially the youths.


According to him , we have started our grass root reach to our youths. The youths should expect a very close relationship with our administration.

” I will be mediating between the youths and our administration. My main focus is on the youths. We have told them to come with ideas and proposals on how we are going to do things that will lead to human capital development .I will be more closer to the people and to our youths “
