Mrs Edoziem Elected Abia state Sports Council Welfare Chairman

Abia state sports Council Welfare Association has elected a new state chairman  in the person of Pastor Mrs Edoziem Paschaline.

The election which was keenly contested at Umuahia Township stadium,  by pastor Mrs Edoziem Paschaline and Pastor Alozie Emmanuel,saw the former emerged victoriously with a wide gap of 112 votes for Pastor Edoziem  against 52 votes for Alozie Emmanuel

Speaking at the venue of the election, pastor Edoziem said she will first present the association to God and then work for the general welfare of members of the association.

According to her, ” if I am elected, I can not do without God, I will pursue  the welfare of our members ,some when they are sick and don’t have money to go to hospital, we look for how to assist them, in case of a member organizing wedding or child dedication, we will support the person ,in fact I will unveil my blue print at the right time .Our members should expect transformation “

Speaking at the venue of the election, Pastor Alozie Emmanuel, said “,I have been in this association for 11 years now, I have  alot of plains if elected “

According to him, “this association has not felt good since and I want to change it that my motivation, we need someone that will protect staff welfare, especially in the area of staff promotion and other rites given to members”

He said  it is honesty that made some people want him to contest for the position of chairman, however he pointed out that the person he was contesting with is his colleague and friend and would not feel bad if she emerges.
