John Okiyi Kalu Confirmed by Abia state House of Assembly as commissioner

The Abia State House of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of John Okiyi Kalu as commissioner.

Confirming the nomination, the speaker, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji cited the letter from the Governor asking the house to screen and confirm the nominee, which the house did during the executive session.

Chief Okiyi-kalu was later proclaimed confirmed by the house.

Chief John Okiyi Kalu (JOK) having been confirmed as a Commissioner designate by the Abia State House of Assembly,will be serving for his second term now as the Abia state commissioner for information .
