US women’s soccer players Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger tied the knot in Miami
Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Teammarried in Miami on Saturday, the team confirmed on Twitter. Harris, 34, and Krieger, 35, officially exchanged vows in a ceremony with family friends — and plenty of their teammates posting pictures on social media.
Singer Kina Grannis performed as the couple walked down the aisle, according to People. Megan Rapinoe, the team’s Golden Boot and Golden Ball winner, posted a photo on Instagram at the wedding, and so did team co-captain Alex Morgan, who is pregnant with her first child.
Harris, 34, shared photos of Krieger, 34, and herself dressed in elegant shades of white to celebrate the special weekend.
“It’s time baby,” Harris wrote in a caption on Instagram earlier Saturday. “I’ve been waiting 10 years for this moment.”
In her own Instagram post, Krieger wrote, “I can’t wait to marry you!”
This summer, the couple celebrated another milestone together when the U.S. women’s soccer team won their fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup championship title.
