The Abia state Governor ,Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has received certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC ) ,saying ” our victory today is best dedicated to God Almighty who made it possible and granted our efforts for us to be victorious ,even in this 2019 election .You can not get to this point except God appoints so ” he said
Ikpeazu who was speaking after receiving his certificate at INEC office Umuahia ,thanked Ndi Abia for the privilege to serve them in the next four years,even as he thank ” specially all those who voted us and supported us and of more importantly those who disagree with us and felt that there was something we needed to do better ,we are going to look at the issues so as to serve Abia better ”
Governor Ikpeazu ,disclosed that the next four years, will experience massive infrastructural development and empowerment of the teeming youths of Abia ,even as commended the INEC for their efforts in conducting the general election and the security officers for protecting the people during the election.
Ikpeazu extended olive leaves to those who did not make it in the election ،urging them to join hands with him to develop Abia ,while promising not to disappoint Ndi Abia .
