GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD has approved the appointment of Dr. Jamike Osondu Enwereji, FWACS, FMCOG, as the Chief Medical Director of the Abia State Specialist Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Umuahia.
49 year old Dr. Enwereji is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt where he took his MBBS degree and had his postgraduate medical training at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu.
He holds the dual Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
A career Civil Servant, Dr. Enwereji was, until this recent appointment, Director, Medical Services of the Abia State Ministry of Health.
He hails from Egbelu Owo in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State and is happily married with children.
