The founder Onyinye Ohuhu Humanitarian Aid Foundation, Prince Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu has disclosed that he is a gift to the Ohuhu land and has come to make a difference .
Prince Ofoegbu, who made this disclosure while interacting with Newsmen,shortly after receiving his multiple award of Excellence from the Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers ,with the title ,’ Onyinye Ohuhu’ in the palace of His Royal Majesty Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu at Umudiawa Ancient kingdom Ohuhu Umuahia North local government Area of Abia state.
According to him , ” My name is Onyinyechi, that means God’s gift.
I am born to bring gifts and light to the people because the Bible says the gift of God maketh way and added no sorry.
” I am a gift to the Ohuhu land .I have come to make a difference” he said
Speaking on his developmental projects, chief Onyinyechi Ofoegbu, revealed that , ” I have taken over the maintenance of the bad roads in Ofe Eme since 2010 ,I have taken care of so many widows through my medical services . I have encouraged our students through buying of WAEC and JAMB forms .I have done many things to support our people” he insisted.
Speaking further on what Ohuhu people should expect from him after the honour done to him , ” They should expect more good things ‘ Ihe Abiala Na Ohuhu, Onyinyechi Erutele ‘
Expect more from me ” he concluded.
Speaking further ,chief Onyinyechi Ofoegbu expressed delight over the honour given to him and grateful to God for the opportunity , ” I am not the best in Ohuhu,but they singled me out for this special honor , I give all the glory to God and I appreciate the people of Ohuhu” he Said
He however appreciated the traditional rulers after award ceremony with some cash donations ,about 150 pieces of wrappers for the Ohuhu women , many laptop computers ,to some schools in Ohuhu , specially made wrappers for the Ugoezes in Ohuhu , among other things.
In their separate speeches,the traditional rulers of Ohuhu extolled chief Onyinyechi Ofoegbu as a man with a good heart , describing him as a great son of Ohuhu whose wealth has touched the Ohuhu land,” he has impacted many lives in Ohuhu , God will protect you as you go out and come in ,you will bring more blessings to this land and the evil people will not see you ” they all echoed in prayers to him .
Early on his speech ,the chairman of the occasion ,HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, explained that they are not looking for who to honour ,but they decided to give honour to Prince Onyinyechi Ofoegbu because of his numerous contributions to the development of Ohuhu land, adding that Ohuhu people are very happy with him , because he loves his people.
