Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has been commended for good governance ,especially in the area of roads construction and infrastructural development, saying it is a sign of a leader with good vision .
The Councillor representing Ubakala ward A in Umuahia South local government Area of Abia state ,Hon.Nneoma Miriam Abali ,who gave the commendation at Umuahia ,when our reporter ran into her while on duty .
Hon.Abali ,who is one of the principal officers in Umuahia south local government and deputy majority leader ,described the Governor as a man with good intentions for Ndi Abia.
In her words ,” I want to thank our amiable governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for all the roads construction and infrastructural development going on the state. He has good intentions for Ndi Abia, he listens to their challenges, I urge the people to exercise patience “
She explained that it is her passion and zeal to serve her people made her contested for the election and expressed appreciation to the governor for organizing local government election as well as her people for voting for her.
Speaking on her plan for her constituents ,” As a woman ,I love my people ,I have keyed into the vision of our governor to make sure that dividends of democracy get to them.
As the chairperson on youths and women development, she reiterated her commitment in helping the youths and the women, while appealing to them to avoid violence, be prayerful and embrace dialogue as a means of solving any problem.
