Gregory Ibe Emerges Abia APGA Governorship Candidate For 2023

The Pro chancellor of Gregory University Uturu Professor Gregory Ibe has been elected the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the 2023 Governorship election in Abia state.

He emerged at the Governorship primary election held at the Kolping conference Hall Umuahia,beating his three remaining challengers to pick the 2023 governorship ticket.

The Returning officer Echezona Etiaba who announced the result of the primary poll, said that Prof.Gregory Ibe scored 283 votes to beat his closet rival ,Barr. Etigwe Uwa,who got 148 votes out of the total 482 votes cast and the 3 void votes and declared Professor Gregory Ibe the winner.

In his appreciation , Professor Gregory Ibe thank APGA for conducting a fair and transparent primaries.

He thanked his fellow Aspirants for contesting for the primaries and described them as his friends and assured that they will work as a team.

He further expressed appreciation to the State working committee and the National working Committee for ensuring a successful primary election.
