*Governor Ihedioha In U.S, Speaks To Black Congressional Caucus*
Holds private meetings with World Bank President, Warren Buffet Foundation On Investment Opportunities In Imo State
In line with his determination to continue to deliver on his promise to rebuild Imo State, Governor, Emeka Ihedioha is in the United States of America where he has addressed the U.S Congressional Black Caucus.
The Black Congressional Caucus is the strongest lobby group in the world who have shown commitment to make Nigeria and Imo State in particular, investment destinations.
According to a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr.Chibuike Onyeukwu, Governor Ihedioha will hold private meetings with Warren Buffet foundation, President of the World Bank and top officials in the Bureau of Africa Affairs of the U.S State Department.
During the visit, the Governor will also interact with fund managers and investors, including African-Americans who, since his assumption of office, have shown strong interest to invest in Imo State.
According to the statement, Governor Ihedioha will also during the visit, explore the opportunity of attracting huge flow of investment funds into the State and tap into the potentials of over 2 million Imolites in the Diaspora for the benefit of the people of the State.
He will also use the gathering to showcase the potentials of Imo State, reassure the international community of the new friendly business opportunities in the State.
Governor Ihedioha is accompanied on the visit by the Special Adviser on Diaspora, Prof Chudi Uwazuruike, Special Adviser on Economic Affairs, Director General, Imo State Investment Promotion Agency, ISIPA, Dr.Ndubuisi Anyanwu.
The State Deputy Governor, Hon.Gerald Irona, is holding brief for the Governor.
