The Founder Rosy Care for the Needy,Mrs Rosy-Mary N.Amakwe has encouraged the Blind Students at the Special Education school for the Blind Afara Ukwu Umuahia to lean on God for whatever challenges they are facing in life as she marked her birthday with them in a grand style
Addressing the students and the teachers who gathered at the school Hall to rejoice with her,Mrs Amakwe underscored the importance of prayer in every Christian life, said it brings victory in every challenge in life.
According to her,” I want to encourage you to have faith in God, whatever maybe your challenge,there is nothing God can not do .
” I encourage you to lean on Jesus Christ for whatever challenge you are facing in life”
Speaking further,she narrated God’s faithfulness in her life, career, family and education, saying”Jesus has been seeing me through”
She explained that all her life she had been longing to take care of the Needy,hence she had thought it wise to set up a foundation for the Needy.
In her speech a member of the delegation of the Rosy Care For the Needy Foundation,Mrs Iroegbu Ene described those in the School of the Blind as special people hence the Foundation decided to visit and celebrate with them,added that God established the foundation to use as instrument to help the indigent people in the society.
Her words,”You people are very special people, that the foundation decided to come and celebrate our founder birthday with you.
“God established this foundation to use as tool to impact on people and this foundation has impacted many indigent people according to the direction of God” she said.
She expressed appreciation to the students and the management of the school for the opportunity given to the Foundation to come and celebrate with them.
In her response,the Principal of the Special Education school for the Blind Afara Ukwu Umuahia,Mrs Celine Olugu,thank the members of the Foundation for deeming it worthy to come to celebrate with them and prayed that would reward them very well.
The event witnessed special prayers from the students to the celebrant and all the Foundation members, dancing with the celebrant among others
Some of the items presented to the Students include:
Cartons of biscuits, bag of rice, rolls of toilet paper, some quantity of onious,crates of mineral soft drinks,slippers,crates of malt, cartons of indomine etc
