The Secretary to the Abia State government Barrister Chris Ezem has disclosed that Ezeogo Anagha Ezikpe was a great man who was passionate about his profession and remains an outstanding General of Abia state
Barrister Ezem who made this disclosure shortly after the recommendation Service in honour of Anagha Ezikpe held at Michael Okpara Auditorium Umuahia further described him as one of the outstanding doctors Abia state has produced and that ,” we see in his Contributions in the medical sector and in Abia state in general”
According to him, ” We can not write the history of Abia state without referring to him , without referencing and mentioning him .
” He was one of the founding fathers of Abia state and was instrumental to the Abia Charter of Equity.
” He chaired the Abia Elders Advisory Council which he pioneered and piloted positively”
He further explained that Ezeogo Anagha Ezikpe remains an outstanding general of Abiriba kingdom, Ohafia local government and Abia state, adding that he died on a duty post,hence his memory will continue to remain evergreen with Abians .
He urged the family members and the people of Abia state to continue to emulate , imbibe and advance those core values, truth, professionalism among others for which he is known for.
