The chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Center ,Umuahia (FMC ) ,Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi has revealed that the ongoing transformation in the hospital under his leadership is to enable the hospital provide quality healthcare services to the people of Abia state and its environment, saying the zeal to provide quality health care services is what is motivating him.

Addressing newsmen at Villa de Roy hotel Umuahia ,during his award by Rotary club and the  installation ceremony of the president of the Rotary club Umuahia Central district, Dr Azubuike disclosed that his mission is to make sure that the hospital is repositioned to provide quality health care services to the people.

He expressed his joy over the recognition and award by the Rotary club Umuahia,adding that the club said they went to the hospital on independently and looked at the transformation going on ,hence they recommended him for the award to encourage him to do more.

He said what is happening at the hospital ,is just the beginning of more things to come,pointing out that he has a blue print on how to reposition the hospital.
