The member representing Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal constituency,Rt.Honourable Uko Nkole has joined all well meaning Nigerians to celebrate this year’s commemoration of democracy day, said it has a historic undertone and significance on Nigeria democracy journey.
In a statement signed and made available to Newsmen ,he underscored the need to allow equal participation in the Nation’s democracy as well as lauded all the leaders at various leading positions for their collective effort in engendering good governance as well as the dynamic citizens of the country who participate in the democratic process to ensure that the dividends of democracy is maximized.
According to him ,” It is a day that rejig our memory on the beauty of collective responsibility in governance,the very essence of leadership through the extensive expression of the people’s mandate which reflects their constitutional fundamental rights”
He assured of great hope for future Nigeria in sustainable national development,added that necessary mercenaries have been deployed by the government to arrest the high level of insecurity and economic meltdown in the country.
He further expressed his appreciation to his constituents,the wonderful and good people of Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal constituency for the privilege given to him to speak and represent them at the National Assembly, described them as the best and expressed his commitment to relentlessly do that which they expect of him,while urging them to tighten their involvement in forth coming 2023 general by getting their permanent voter’s card(PVC) to enable them enthrone the government of their choice .
