In line with the World Health Organization and Abia state government directives to create awareness and sensitize the people on the danger of coronavirus and ways of preventing its spread ,as part of her own contribution to the prevention of the spread of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic ,the Founder of ISAIAH 58 CARE FOUNDATION , UZOAMAKA UJA has carried the covid-19 awareness and sensitization at EKET Street Mosque (Ama Hausa ) and at the SUYA SPOT at Ohobo in Umuahia the Abia state capital.
Addressing Newsmen during the awareness event,Uzoamaka Uja disclosed that the awareness and sensitization was carried out in Hausa language to enable her communicate effectively to the Hausa community in Umuahia in Abia state.
According to her , ” I decided to take the awareness to the Hausa people because they need to be aware of the danger of this global pandemic and ways of preventing its spread and because I speak and write Hausa language very well. I went to Islamic school and can read and interpret Quaran. My early life and education is in the Northern Nigeria,it is very easy for me to discuss and interact with them “
It could be recalled that ISAIAH 58 CARE FOUNDATION is an internationally recognized NGO ,that won an award in USA September last year with their project-KICK OUT MALARIA USING FOOTBALL .
