The remains of Pa Ubani Egbedubi Nwokocha has been to the mother Earth in his home town in Umuosoko Awomukwu in Ikwuano LGA of Abia state
In his homily, the former General superintendent of Assembly of God church Nigeria,Rev.Dr Chidi Okoroafor, charged Christians to see themselves as tenants on Earth, said it is only God Almighty that is the only Landlord.
He reminded Christians that everyone is a dust and that no one has certificate of occupancy for life .
He further cautioned that it is unwise for anyone to live on Earth without considering the part of him that do not die,added that every human being has an expiring date which is invisible to all,but visible only to divine God.
He called on people to change from their evil ways and embrace God, revealing that man is a spirit and when there is separation of the spirit and soul from man,death comes.
He further enjoined people think about eternity, saying after Death comes judgement.
In his speech, the son Dr Monday Ubani said,” my dad died peacefully.There was no emergency,no huge medical bills or terrible happenstance that often characterize certain deaths.
” No, his was a smooth and peaceful transition”
He pointed out that his greatest joy is that his dad did not die without confessing and accepting Jesus Christ into his life as a personal saviour.
