CHIOMA UKEKWE BAGS UNIQUE DAUGHTER AWARD * AS ABIA COMMISSIONER OSEIZA CELEBRATES WITH HER

The Anglican Church of Nigeria Umuahia archdeaconry has honoured Dr Chioma Ukekwe with an award of UNIQUE DAUGHTER in recognition of her Contributions to the church and humanity at Large

St Silas Anglican Church women decided to use the occasion of Mothering Sunday to recognize few of their women for their outstanding contributions and sacrifices to the church

The ceremony attracted the creme de la creme in medical sector in Abia state as well as some top Government officers who came to identify with Dr Chioma Ukekwe.

Interacting with Newsmen during the ceremony, the Abia state Commissioner for Small and Medium Scale industries Hon.Adaku Uwaoma Onusiriuka Oseiza congratulated the Celebrant describing her an exemplary leader, and very humble who cares for the poor and has used her profession to save lives, urging her to continue being a blessing to her generation.

She in addition advised women all over the world to keep standing strong amidst the challenges they are facing in the socity and family, encouraging them to keep showing love to their families and the society at Large and put God first in all they do.

In his speech, the president General of Olokoro Clan Development Union in Umuahia South L.G.A, Mr Dike Ebere Nzenwa felicitated with Dr Chioma on her award describing it as a well deserved one.

Continuing ,he noted that ,” My sister is hardworking and dedicated .She likes showing perfection in anything she is doing.She is someone that is down to earth , despite the position she is a occupying .She is a good girl “

I challenged her to continue with her good her good deeds and she has been very supportive of my administration.It is a well deserved”

She believed in Olokoro and she is doing well and we Olokoro people love her.

Congratulating women on their Mothering Sunday, he noted that ,” Women are they salt of the world and I will advise them to continue to play their roles in the family.

Interacting with Newsmen, the Celebrant Dr Chioma Ukekwe who is the Vice Chairman Nigerian Optometric Association Abia state expressed happiness that the church recognize her and promise to continue to work for God and humanity.

She dedicated the award to her late father ,Elder Anthony Ukekwe while that he was alive to witness the ceremony

Earlier in her preaching the vice president and women leader of St Silas Anglican Church Old Umuahia, Mrs Oluonye Ifeanyi Irokwe said ,” we are honouring them because of the good works they have done in the church and society,adding that they are doing what the Bible ask us to do,by taking care of poor ,the women and in characters,they are virtuous women.

” My message is that our Lord will remember all women just as He did to Hannah”
