An outstanding community leader and member of the Ohobo Okwulaga autonomous community Afaraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA of Abia state, chief Christopher Chimobi Nwabuisi has marked his 93rd years birthday in grand style with friends and well-wishers, children and grandchildren, relatives, and some other important personalities gracing the occasion.
The highly elated 93 years elder statesman who is still very strong, healthy and agile, could not hide his feelings as he watched his grand children danced around him in expression of their joyous moods.
Interacting with Newsmen during the birthday celebration,held at his compound Ohobo Okwulaga community,chief Nwabuisi expressed appreciation to Almighty God for keeping him alive and strong.
He said at the age of 93 years old, that he does not need any body to assist him moves about, said he remains grateful to God.
In his words,” I feel very much Happy. I am indeed happy.
” My children and grandchildren are all happy to celebrate with me.
” God has been very faithful to me and at 93 years,I do not need any body to assist me .
” Any time that I celebrated God for His goodness to me,I feel so happy” he said
The first son in- law of the chief celebrant and a quantity surveyor by profession, chief Richard Nnamdi Ikpe, while interacting with Newsmen during the event described the celebrant as a truthful and honest man whose words stand for the truth .
He extolled the great virtues of the man, revealing that since he got married to the first daughter of the house, that chief Nwabuisi has never stopped taking and treating him like his first son.
He pointed out that at 93 years that his father in law is still strong and lively, said “it is a gift and grace of God “
” I thank God for him and wish him continuity of life and the best of time, we are promising not to disappoint him”
