Charles Ulonnaya Eluwa Bags Another Chieftaincy title ‘ Omere Oha 2 of Elu-Elu Old Umuahia

High chief Hon. Sir Charles Ulonnaya Eluwa has been honoured again with the Chieftaincy title as the ‘omere oha 2 of Elu-Elu Old Umuahia autonomous community in Umuahia South local government area of Abia state by the Eze in council and the traditional Ruler of Elu-Elu Old Umuahia, HRM Eze Dr John Onuzurike,the Eze Amara 3rd of Elu-Elu Old Umuahia at his palace .

Speaking with Newsmen shortly after being conferred with the title,Sir Ulonnaya expressed happiness and thank the people of the community and the Eze in council for recognition given to him .

He explained that his services and support to the growth and development of the community and more might have earned him the traditional honour by the Eze in council.

He revealed that ,” last year I was given a title and this year I am conferred again by Old Umuahia Amasa .

” I feel delighted and honoured,it is all about Community Services and I love my community and I wish the Eze and his council God’s blessings.

” I want to be part of the development of this community” he said.

He further urged other sons and daughters of the community to continue to support the development of the community.

” Government can do much as it can,it is our community and we need to play a role to make sure that it is peaceful and better place”

Earlier the traditional Ruler of Elu-Elu Old Umuahia autonomous community HRM Eze Dr Sir John Onuzurike,the Eze Amara 3rd Elu -Elu Old Umuahia Autonomous community Umuahia urged all receipiants of the chieftaincy conferment to be responsible in all their behaviors and to help the community to grow and develop.

According to him,” We conferred them chieftaincy titles because they have done noble things for the community and four out of six of them reside in abroad.

“We are blessed that our sons and daughters who deem it fit to come home and take chieftaincy and by God’s grace we are honouring them”
