Following public outcry and the seeming misconception about the Ruga Settlement Projects, President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have suspended the idea pending further notice.

President Muhammadu Buhari suspended the Ruga settlement project on Wednesday, July 3, for a nationally acceptable approach to the frequent herdsmen-farmers clash in the country, This Day reports.

This came after much consultation between President Buhari and some key stakeholders under the platform of governors forum.
