The Accord party Abia Gubernatorial candidate, Bishop Dr Chukwuemeka Nwankpa said there was no election in Abia rather thugs came and started beating people and carried the election materials and he called for the cancellation of the so called election in the state
Bishop Nwankpa who spoke to Newsmen in his home town Ngwa in Abia state accused INEC of the the major problem in the state, said they have decided never to do free and fair election
He pointed out that even in his polling unit, INEC deliberately came with out the ballot papers,added that it was when he reacted that they had to go and get the ballot papers.
His words,” In Abia state ,I will say there is no election ,thugs were everywhere and in my own polling unit INEC came without Governorship papers and I went there to react before they had to go and bring the papers .
” Thugs came,started beating people and carried the election materials.
” Our problem is not even PDP ,our problem is INEC they decided never to do free and fair election.
” INEC came without ballot papers and it is intentional. Our problem these days is INEC that refuse to do free and fair election.
“Thugs snatched boxes ,beat up people and my stand is that the election should be cancelled” he said
