Abia state Working committee

The chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia state chapter ,Rev. Augustine Ehiemere has assured that APGA will change the narratives in Abia state when they take over Abia state government in 2023,urged party faithfuls to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to ensure the success of the project.
Addressing party faithfuls from Ikwuano, Umuahia North, Umuahia South LGAs of Abia state in separate locations during LGA sensitization tour by the party State working committee ,Rev Ehiemere described the emergence of Professor Gregory Ibe as the Governorship candidate of the party for 2023 general election as something ordained by God to clean the tears of Abians.
He explained that,” we are not here for campaign rather we only came to know how we are standing in our local governments and wards levels .
” We are here for sensitization and to know how our structure is doing” he said.
He pointed out that Abia state is in dire need of someone to change the narratives in 2023,added that if nothing is done,” our children will hold us responsible”
In his speech, the State secretary, Ambassador Sunday Onwukwubiri , said the State working committee of APGA decided to tour LGAs in Abia and encourage them on the need to work as one family to achieve success.
In his remarks, at APGA Umuahia central office in School road Umuahia,the party legal Adviser Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwokoro said the party was at the LGAs to encourage party faithfuls as well as to appeal to them to get their PVCs .
Addressing the gathering of APGA party faithfuls,the Director General of Professor Gregory Ibe foundation,Hon. Emeka Okafor described the APGA Governorship candidate for 2023 as the best among the Governorship candidates in Abia state .
He noted that God has blessed APGA and Abia state by sending professor Ibe at this time that Abians are in need of good leaders .
He said ,” professor Ibe is the best among others .He is a consultant to 15 ECOWAS countries, consultant to United Nations and very creative man .
” I want to assure that APGA will win and I want to assure that professor Gregory Ibe is a man who God has blessed.
” He knows how to manage the economy and with him Abians will smile because Abia has the potentials to be number state in Nigeria.
In their separate speeches the Candidate for Umuahia North state constituency Chief Chinedu Obilor and the candidate for Umuahia South state constituency Hon.Chief Emmanuel Egwu promised to deliver their constituencies to APGA come 2023 general election
