Abia Commissioner For Finance Aham Uko Says Lady Adanma Okpara lived a purposeful and simple life

The commissioner for finance Abia state,chief Aham Uko has joined many Nigerians of all works of life to celebrate the life chief Lady Adanma Okpara who died at the ripe age of 99 years .

Interacting with Newsmen shortly after the remains of Lady Adanma Okpara was laid to rest in her husband country home Umuegwu Okpuala Afugiri in Umuahia North LGA Abia state,the Finance commissioner, disclosed that ,” she lived a purposeful life , very simple,God fearing ,accommodating , peaceful and she was a mother to all .

” We thank God for a day like this because our mother lived for 99 years in today’s world where ordinary life expectancy is even below the 70 years as the Bible stipulate ,but God in His infinite mercy added 29 more years for her “

According to him , ” we are not going to live forever,but what speak for us are those legacies we left behind”

He further prayed that God should help the children to emulate those good virtues of Mama,so that the legacies that she has left behind which the family the known for
