Abia commissioner celebrates with Ibeku Egwu Asaa women,tasks them to contribute to the development of Abia State

Abia Commissioner celebrates with Ibeku Egwu Asaa women on the occasion of their 2023 August conference and homecoming held at Ibeku women ultra modern event center Ogurube layout Umuahia, said the role of women to the development of the society can not be overemphasized.

The Commissioner for trade, commerce and industry,Hon.Chimezie Ukaegbu who is a great son of Ibeku ancient kingdom made this known while addressing Newsmen shortly after celebrating with Ibeku women on their August conference .

He explained that he was at the place to celebrate with the mothers to mark their end of the 2023 August conference.

He charged them to be responsible,try as much as they can to train their children,so that when they grow up,they will know the right part to follow.

Continuing,he noted that women are very vital to the growth of the society and challenged them to work and contribute to the development of Abia State.

He described August meeting as an opportunity for women to be together and urged women to be in unity so as to attract progress.
