Abia APGA Fed.House Member Candidate Ogbonna Abarikwu Vows To Restore Trust Among Constituents

The Candidate for Umuahia North/ South and Ikwuano Federal Constituency under All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA),Engr. Ogbonna Abarikwu has promised to restore trust and confidence among the Constituents if elected in 2023.

Abarikwu who made this known at his hometown Okwoyi Community while informing his direct immediate relatives of his ambition to represent them at the Federal House of Assembly.

He further said that he would bring transparency into his activities, especially in the management of the resources allocated to his constituency,adding that the three local government areas that make up the Constituency , Umuahia North, Umuahia South and Ikwuano LGAs to decide what their priorities are in the infrastructure development .

In his words,” Today , I come to tell my people and immediate kindred,the people of Isieke Ibeku that I am about to embark on journey to contest for the office of the Federal House of representative for Umuahia North/South and Ikwuano Federal Constituency under APGA platform.

” The Constituency needs to understand that in the past years,we have lost the sense of trust of the electorates .

” Fundamentally your role is to be that of servant leader not ruler , you are there to serve.

” The first duty that I own the Constituency is to restore trust ,we have lost in the system and we are going to do that by being transparent in the way that we manage the resources that belong to the Constituency.

” We have to work as a group ,the people will decide what their priorities are in the 3 LGAs Umuahia North, Umuahia South and Ikwuano .

” We need roads to take farmer produce to market ,we have need for school and health care system”

In their separate speeches,those who responded on behalf of the Isieke Ibeku pointed that they have the challenge of water and said they would give their son maximum support.

They agreed that the project first and foremost that the project is Eke Community’s Project and promised to give him 100% votes.

Those who responded include Ikechukwu Ukoha, chief Bernard Nwosu , chairman Umuajiji Ibeku , John Amaechi , chairman Non- indigene association, Ihekweaba Ngozioha,Chima Onwukwubiri , chairman Okwuta ,Sir Peter Ozurumba the former CSO to Abia state government.

List of Communities that make up Eke clan are : Ajata Isieke, Umuajiji Isieke, Ihie Isieke, Ukome Isieke, Okwuta Isieke and Okwoyi Isieke.
