The Abia State Chairman of All Progressive Congress and Chairman SouthEast Chairmen’s Forum of All Progressive Congress ,Hon.Chief Donatus Nwankpa has felicitated with
Dr Anyim Nyerere Chinenye Anyim PhD ,as he celebrates his sixtieth birthday today ,while describing him as the Founding father of APC Abia state .
Hon .Nwankpa ,who made this disclosure to Newsmen in Umuahia,described Dr Anyim Nyerere as ,” the founding leader of APC Abia State ,The first national vice chairman South East, the first gubernatorial candidate of Abia APC ,a servant leader, a soft spoken but strength and wisdom filled, a man with a heart of Gold ,a motivator ,a philanthropist of repute ,a man who is anointed with the most positive qualities of king David of the Bible .A man who has made his mark in the business world ,a man who became great by dint of hard work and special grace of God ”
In his words ,” I ,on behalf of myself, my family ,the leaders and in deed the people of Abia State in particular and South East in general wish you many happy returns even as we pray that God will continue to bless ,protect and grant you your innermost heart desires while prospering you in good health of body and soul ”
He further noted that ,
” we remember you standing like the Rock of Gibraltar in the face of the wave of destruction against the soul of the then baby APC Abia State as you provided your broad shoulders for us to lean on ” saying he was the “BIG PILLAR standing” he said.
