The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA ), candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the forth coming election,Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu, has awarded scholarship to one Master Apam Evidence Uchenna,an instrumentalist of the Apostolic Church Nigeria,Umuahia.
Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu,who honoured the 2022 Annual Harvest/Thanksgiving ceremony of the Church,held today, was led by the Spirit to offer scholarship to one of the drummers in the Church.
Addressing the congregation, the APGA candidate said as the worship was going on,he was led in the spirit to award scholarship to Apam Evidence Uchenna, who he described as skillful and commited in the service of God, urging him not to relent.
Engr Abarikwu also informed the Church on the need for them to be actively involved in the 2023 election process,by voting in candidates who have capacity to serve,as well as character to sustain their service, saying the Church needs to get involved because the future of the state and country lies in their hands.
He thanked the church for the display of practical christainity, examplified in their joyful worship.
The church led by their
Minister in charge, Prophet David Ogbu ogu, however offered special prayers to God on behalf of the APGA candidate,praying God Almighty to grant his heart desires and also protect him and his campaign team,throughout the electioneering period.
Engr Abarikwu was accompanied by a US based APGA stakeholder Chief Ezenwa Ukanwoke (BUCKNOR), the Director General of the Ogbonna Abarikwu campaign council, Mr Osondu Anamelechi , Pro-Group Director, Dan Ezeocha and the Media Director, Okezie Uwakwe.
