2023 General election a unique opportunity to change the Nigeria system Chuku Wachuku discloses

The Young Progressives Party Senatorial candidate for Abia central Chief Chuku Wachuku has disclosed that 2023 general election is a unique opportunity to change the Nigeria system which has not favoured the larger population of Nigerians and urged the youths not to play politics with their lives by voting in competent people

Chief Wachuku who made the disclosure on Monday while interacting with a delegation of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria OMPAN Abia,led by the chairman Chief Paddy Anyatonwu who were in his place to hand him over a letter of invitation,said there would be no power of incumbency from the presidential position to the State House of Assembly level,hence the unique opportunity to change the ugly system of governance in Nigeria.

He challenged Nigerians to elect leaders that can provide good and sustainable jobs for the youths and not those who will purchase okada and Keke to the youths as means of economic empowerment.

The former Director General National Directorate of Employment urged the electorates to vote for those who are capable of creating wealth as well as leaders who can transfer power to the next generation.

Continuing,he called on the youths to join him to change the system said as a senator,he would invite professionals and technocrats to help change the system.

He promised to focus more on economic empowerment that would be sustainable not giving out gifts, urging the youths to stop hailing their oppressors,some who have been in power for 16 years without changing the lives of the people.

He frowned at some candidates who are hiding their incompetency under a presidential candidate,yet have been in power for 16 years without constructing the roads to their constituency added that politics of presidency should be separated from politics that impact the lives of Constituents and local needs of the people.

According to him,” I am going to use my platform as a senator to create employment, make human empathy driven policies .

” We are going to encourage a community based organizations which will attract funds .

“I am going to create an Abia central economic zone,comprising one industry per LGA ” he said
