We Did Not Ban Tummy Tummy Noddles,Tinned Tomatoes,Maggi seasoning cubes,says NAFDAC

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has denied banning Tummy Tummy Noddles,tinned tomatoes and Maggi seasoning cubes.

This was disclosed in Abuja in a statement,describing the viral audio recording as false and misleading.

According to NAFDEC the claims made in the recording that the Tummy Tummy noddles facility in Anambra state was sealed is not true

“There is no ban on tinned tomatoes or Maggi seasoning cubes in Nigeria,” NAFDAC said

NAFDAC advised Nigerians to disregard the misleading audio and refrain from spreading unverified information.

The statement personally signed by the Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, assured that the Agency remains proactive in its mandate of safeguarding public health
