It was an atmosphere of excitement and joy as the women of Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku Women Progressive Union Umuahia,singled out Mr Obioma Chionye to be recognized for his numerous contributions to the development of the community as ,”Ezinwa Nwere ukwu of Isiama Afaraukwu”
Interacting with Newsmen shortly after receiving the award at Union primary school Afaraukwu, Mr Chionye expressed appreciation for the honor done to him by the women, described it as a strong motivator to do more.
In his words,” I am very happy because our mothers considered me for this award . They are doing well.
” This award will motivate me to put my best to the development of the community”
He advised the women to continue in their good deeds and let them be honest and stand on the truth always and never allow division among them.
