Christians all over the world have been urged not to allow their hearts to be troubled as they navigate through the challenges of life, saying that God loves His children and has remedies to all life challenges.
Preaching from the Holy Bible John chapter 14: 1-2 and I Corinthians chapter 15: 21-28, the Officiating minister during the funeral service of late Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe held at Methodist Church Nigeria, Wesley Cathedral Umuahia,Abia State, stressed the need for every child of God to have strong faith in God.
The minister who is the Secretary of Conference of Methodist Church of Nigeria,Rt Rev.Babatunde Taiwo in his homily enjoined Christians and the members of the late Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe not to allow their hearts to be troubled.
The Preacher described this world as a market place,adding that everyone must give an account of his/her stewardship immediately after death ,while urging children to learn to take care of their parents while they are alive.
Continuing,he said,” This life can be better if only we can be our brothers keeper.
” Think of how to make people happy as well as put smiles in their faces” he said.
Speaking on longevity, he stressed the need to maintain peace of mind in our homes ,saying peace helps people to live longer.
